Expertise
The Foundry^® team brings tremendous breadth and depth of experience to projects. The Foundry's management members have held leadership roles at more than ten medical device start-up companies, delivering over $2.5 billion in market value to these companies' founders and investors. This experience includes:

• Clinical: 10+ major clinical trials, direct clinical experience in areas from anesthesia to
  interventional neuroradiology.

• Technical: proficiency in all aspects of device design, assembly and testing, including CAD/CAM, machining, molding, welding, soldering, brazing, extrusion, bench studies, wet lab studies, preclinical studies.

• Functional: expertise spans all aspects of corporate development, including research and development, intellectual property strategy, business development, clinical research, manufacturing, sales and marketing, general management, finance and human resources.

• Intellectual Property: The Foundry's technical staff are co-inventors on over 200 pending and issued US patents. The Foundry has also acquired or licensed key Intellectual Property as part of developing broad, comprehensive portfolios for our companies.

Facility
The Foundry's 8000 square foot facility includes space and physical assets to develop, house and incubate several new ventures simultaneously. Those assets include:

• Full time staff
• R&D lab, including full device prototyping and testing capabilities
• Wet lab
• Fully equipped machine shop
• Clean room
